| October 18, 2007. I can't believe the school
district in one of our states voted to allow 6th graders to obtain
contraceptives, including birth control pills from the school nurse.
What is our country coming to? Some will say the kids will have sex
anyway, so why not protect them from unwanted pregnancies. I can
only think of what happened to Sodom and Glenmora when The Lord
finally had enough. Sexual deviancy ran rampant in those days, along
with sex between man and animals and those of the same sex. God
destroyed the two cities with fire and brimstone. Nothing was left.
He spared Lot and his family because they were the only faithful
ones left in the city. I shudder to think what will happen to
America when the bulk of the population ignores God's warnings and
lives for the pleasures of life. God instituted the family, man and
women, at creation. This union must have been important to HIM
because he blessed it and said, "Be fruitful and multiply."
The Bible speaks of GOD'S plan for marriage and intimacy. HE didn't
create sex for the pleasure of unwed people or children of eleven.
Having the opportunity to have sex with multiple partners without
worry about pregnancy will bring about a generation of people with
sexually transmitted diseases. How can we expect our children
and grandchildren to make good and decent choices when their parents
and grandparents can't? |

December 3, 2007. This weekend my granddaughter's cheerleading squad won
the State Championship. To add icing to the cake, the football team they
cheer for won the State Championship in the Rookie Division. I can't
tell you how proud I am of the cheerleading squad and the boys who play
for the Tracy Buccaneers Rookie Team. The cheerleading competition kept
us on pins and needles right up until the State Champion was announced.
The food ball game, dubbed the Super Bowl, was equally exciting. Four
points separated the two teams and right down to the wire there was a
chance the Tracy Buccaneers might lose. The noise was deafening at both
events.
I can't believe Christmas is around the corner. Mom and
my brother arrive on December 20th. We look forward to their arrival
every year at this time. To celebrate, we will be spending New Year's
Eve at Disneyland!! Until next time. God Bless, and enjoy Christmas. |
